Thank you for taking the time for your recent interview. Per the discussion, this is CIHS’s onboarding process.
House Manager
SUD Counselor
Step 1: Initial Employment documents : Please sign the Background Check Privacy Notice & Complete the job application (will be sent to you via Docusign). You will need to send a copy of your picture ID & SS Card to info@cihsmd.org
Step 2: Contract Review: You will be provided your contract for review (via DocuSign- to be signed after review and questions answered. Feel free and give me a call if you have any questions).
Step 3: Orientation: You will be invited to an online orientation via Zoom. During the orientation; you will learn about CIHS, its culture, services, staff handbook and more.
Step 4: Admin Training: In a span of one week and allocation of 7 work hours; you will be asked to complete a series of CARF Trainings.
Step 5: Housing Training: Once you’ve completed your Admin training; you will meet with our Community Support Coordinator for your Shelter training.
Step 6: WELCOME TO THE CIHS TEAM
Step 1: Background Check: Per Medicaid regulations; CIHS must attain background check results prior to onboarding and full employment . I have attached a CJIS background check form which you should take with you to the nearest background check provider. Please sign the Background Check Privacy Notice & Complete the job application (will be sent via Docusign tonight). You will need to send a copy of your picture ID, SS Card & College degree to info@cihsmd.org
Note: CIHS is willing to endorse background check expense; however such expense will be deducted from the staff’s first check
Step 2: Contract Review: CIHS will receive background check result within 24 to 48 hours. Once received; you will be provided your contract for review (via DocuSign- to be signed after review and questions answered)
